working together for the good of all

The Algonquin Gateway Business Association is a community-based business association committed to promoting and improving the area.

In addition, membership includes a business listing on the AGBA website and each of the kiosks located in Gooderham, Cardiff, Wilberforce and Harcourt. Membership also offers the opportunity to advertise on all kiosks and includes brochure/rack card space at those same kiosks.

AGBA offers professional, online training at Lynda.com to members at 80% off the regular online price. Members always have opportunities to learn and grow with each other. AGBA also offers education through guest speakers, support for business-to-business, networking opportunities, volunteering opportunities and much more. We can all do more by working together.

In addition to offering membership advertising opportunities and education, the AGBA also has expectations of its members. Each member is encouraged to follow the AGBA Code of Conduct and apply these principles when conducting business: Pride in AGBA and Community; Commitment to Customer Service; To Hold Necessary Credentials, Coverage(s) and Conduct to Operate Business; Commitment to Local Employment, Culture and Economic Development; Willingness to Charge Competitive Rates and to Support and Protect Our Environment.

AGBA is continually raising expectations and the standards of doing business throughout the area. In addition to plenty of useful area information such as boat launches, area history, member stories, GeoCaching, Free WiFi locations, fishing, rockhounding, landfill locations and hours, libraries and so much more, our annual AGBA Discovery Guide also provides a list of member businesses categorized by your needs - please support our members, you’ll be glad you did!
